Fog

Foggy days remind me of a story from when I was a kid.

This particular morning it was extra foggy. The fog was so thick you could not see anything. In reality no one should have been driving in it.

My friends dad was driving his motorcycle to work. The road this happened on was a road that ended into another. There was a car stopped at the stop sign. He missed the car, so he was in the wrong lane and went into the ditch on the other side.

The guy in the car just happened to be one of the dads friends. He heard the wreck and got out to look for his friend. He was able to find the bike by feeling around, but could not locate his friend.

My friends dad escaped with only a broken leg.

We were over at the friend in the cars home some time after the accident and his wife revealed that her husband was still waking up some nights screaming for his friend.
