Soda Pop incident

Some time ago I worked at a Grocery Store. One of my duties was to refill the beer cooler. So I would come in and make a list of what I needed and go to the beer hallway off of the backroom.

This particular day while I was in the beer hallway, a loud crash came from the backroom. I ran out to see 2-liters of soda pop(just pop for us ohioans) all over the place. Many of them had busted open and were spewing their content all over the floor.

Someone who was working in the deli ran in thinking they would find someone hurt. I called 2 people from other departments to help in the clean up, as there was now 1/2 to 1 inch of standing liquid on the floor.

When it was all said and done, the reason for the crash was someone put 2 pallets of 2-liters on top of each other without any wrapping for support. The bottom pallet gave way and then the mess ensued.
